The Howard County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) is the enforcement arm of the Howard County court system and services the population of Howard County, Maryland.
History
The HCSO was created in 1851.[1]
Organization
The current sheriff of the HCSO is James F. Fitzgerald. The HCSO is divided into four sections:[2]
- Domestic Violence Enforcement
- Warrants/Fugitive
- Courthouse Security
- Landlord/Tenant
